A Tulsa pastor is facing a felony. Dr. Bobby Kendrick is accused of attacking a security guard with a folding chair outside of a high school football game. " I'm sure he's a nice guy. He became angry, and his anger led him to do what he did, which was a crime, said Tulsa Public Schools (TPS) Assistant Police Chief Dwight Jackson. TPS police say it all started when some of Doctor Bobby Kendrick's friends were denied access into the game. According to the police report the guard claims a younger and older man eventually left the stadium with the minister and a woman. Kendrick, the pastor at Greater Union Baptist Church at 955 East 36th Street North , says the woman is the secretary at the church. He says her son was supposed to play with Central High School's Alumni Band during third quarter, but he was late because he had to work. Man Thought He Was Meeting 14-Year-Old Girl, Deputies Say GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A youth pastor at a church outside Fayetteville was arrested in Greensboro Thursday after deputies said he attempted to meet an undercover deputy whom he thought was a 14-year-old girl. Thomas Lee Elliott, of Roseboro (pictured) was charged with solicitation of a child by computer to commit an unlawful sex act and attempted taking indecent liberties with a minor. Deputies said their investigation into Elliott's online activity began last month when he began communicating with the deputy. Deputies said Elliot, a youth pastor at Autryville Baptist Church , set up the meeting. He's being held on a $25,000 bond. I think I found out the hard way recently, but I am rather content on that aspect now, especially after a short email conversation I had Wednesday morning. I received an email that morning from Valerie Tarico , who has given me inspiration in many ways, even helped/helps me on my journey in recovering from religion and this time was no exception. She was a cousin to my ex-wife and best friend, so I knew her from several family gatherings. Actually, my ex took the x-ray that first showed the cancer. Lindsey and her parents from her Celebration of Life wish. Lindsey was born in China, of Chinese parents, and adopted by American parents when she was about 3 years old. It is believed by her adoptive parents that she was either abducted from, or abandoned by, her birth parents and brought to a Christian orphanage in a Chinese city. Lindsey had told them she thought she had had an older sister in her birth family, in China. Lindsey got to see China again a couple years ago when her adoptive parents took her there for a vacation. At that point in my life, I was starting to question Christianity and thought this class would give me logical reasons to believe. Unfortunately, I walked away disappointed. The pastor running the class spent most of the time presenting “evidence” against evolution. Since the pastor’s expertise was with the bible and not evolutionary biology, I was skeptical.
