Did God create death?

This is my first article ever posting on this site. So, if you are reading this, please don't criticize it too much. Thank you.

One main Christian belief is that Jesus conquered death through his resurrection. This however contradicts passages in the bible that state god created death himself. Let's have a look at some of them.

Genesis 3:19:
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
This statement says that God created death as a form of punishment for Adam and Eve's disobedience. This would mean that Jesus would've had to conquer something that God created in his own will to punish us. Therefore, removing this punishment. Unfortunately, we still die. Making this untrue.

Exodus 12:12
For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.
In this passage God says hell himself execute every first-born son in Egypt. Another passage that says Jesus would've had to conquer God himself to defeat death.

In conclusion, the concept of Jesus conquering death is contradictory. Especially if you believe in the concept of the Trinity and think God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one. For he would've had to conquer himself.
