My greatest disappointment at the silence of God was on an afternoon when I received the phone call that my younger sister was in serious condition in the hospital. She was diabetic. She lived her short life waiting for a miracle that never arrived.

Her pastor had told her that God could give her a new pancreas and kidney -- both had already been damaged by diabetes. In a healing campaign, that pastor prophesied that God had healed her. The illusion that she had been healed lasted only a few hours,
