Christianity offers a way to understand why you act the way you do.

It is simple really, you have an evil sinful nature influenced by a demented fallen angel. You were born with a desire and propensity to "sin", so you need to be saved from yourself and from the wrath to come. You can't really help it that you are born this way, but you are still held accountable for both your fallen nature and your actions that are the inevitable result of your twisted personality.

Okay, that's one way to interpret reality.

Here is another way that is just as likely as the above, offering just as much evidence to being true.
